Middle School Basketball
7th / 8th Grade Boys Basketball
8-WEEK SESSION- 2 PRACTICES A WEEK & 6 SATURDAY GAMES
COST: $125 T-shirt and ball included
Registration: Please sign up under your Middle school for grades 7th-8th. Please note that all emails from the department and coaches will go to the address provided.
**All Middle School athletes must have a current sports physical on file.

Dates and locations of practice will be decided after registration is closed and will be determined by coach availability.
All programs are run by volunteer coaches. We need your help to make these programs a success!! Please reach out to Kristin Bean at kristin.bean@ocsd62.org if you are interested in coaching.
Practice Location: Practices can occur at any of our schools. While you register under your child's attending school that does not guarantee that practices will be at the school. Be prepared to practice at any of our schools.
Practice Times: Practices will begin the week of April 17th. Practices occur twice a week between the hours of 5:45pm-8:45pm. The time is determined by the coach's availability and the building's availability. You will receive the schedule approximately 3-7 days prior to the first practice. The email will come from your child's coach. Please check your spam folder.
Games: Games are typically on Saturdays. Grades 3rd-6th play at Gaffney Lane Elementary School and Grades 7th-8th play at either Tumwata or Gardiner Middle School. The games for this season are scheduled for 4/29, 5/6, 5/13, 5/20, 6/03, 6/10. Please note there will not be a game on 5/27 in observance of Memorial Day Weekend.

Refund Policy: Complete refunds or credits are given if enrollment is too low to support the formation of another team. If you choose to withdraw from a team, a full refund will be made as long as the request is made prior to the first practice. Requests after the first day of practice will be given in the amount of $75 per youth. No refunds are issued after 3 Saturday games. Some hardship exceptions apply and are at the discretion of the Community Education Department. Most refunds are issued as a credit to the credit card on file or mailed.
