It is the goal of Oregon City Youth Cheer and Dance (OCYCD) to introduce 1st - 8th grade students to sideline cheer and half time game performances. Cheerleaders will cheer at Oregon City Youth Football games and the dancers will perform dance for half time entertainment. There is also an opportunity for athletes to participate in both programs.  All OCYCD athletes will have the opportunity for other community events and performances as well.
Cheer is open for 1st - 8th grade athletes (Youth team & Jr. team)
Dance team is open to 3rd - 8th grade athletes, 3rd - 8th graders who want to participate in both can do so at no extra charge.

  1. OCYCD is a no-cut team and we make sure everyone feels at home on one of our teams.
  2. We will work with each athlete at his/her skill level to make sure this is an outstanding experience for everyone.
  3. You don't have to have previous experience, but we do expect all of our athletes to work hard and bring a positive attitude.
  4. Safety first and OCYCD athletes will train and condition so they can learn the skills necessary to perform at a high level.
