Come join us and learn how fun riding and taking care of horses can be. Country setting with trails, indoor/outdoor arenas.  English style riding for balance (bases for all riding disciplines), helmets provided and boots are required with 1 inch heel (cowboy boots ok).
Highland Stables is located at 16723 S. Williams Rd. Beavercreek 97004.

Highland Stables has volunteer help assisting when needed for the young first time horse riders. All who help are currently in a riding program at the barn and are knowledgeable about safety around horses. They also have been practicing self-care and safe distancing while being here over the last few months helping take care of their horses as well as the school horses.
Highland Stables has a list which will be able to document and keep on file for all people involved each week. A log is maintained as well during the 4 week session and kept for a minimum of 4 weeks after end of class.
Highland Stables will be using the small barn for check in with a handwashing station. The horses will be there in freshly cleaned stalls using a Shaklee disinfectant which is FDA approved to be effective for the COVID 19 virus.
Highland Stables is asking that on arrival for the lessons, stay in the vehicle until asked to register. Masks are mandatory for all registering and throughout all horse activities.  Lessons will be outside as much as possible for all activities (weather permitting)
